Where are games played?
That depends on the age group your child is in, and how many teams we have in that group. If we have enough teams, then the team plays the other teams in that group, in which case all games are played on OYSA's
fields at Osceola High School.
Some of the older groups do not have enough teams in the group to do this, so the group is scheduled to play with other teams in nearby groups. These are called traveling teams. In this case, some of the games will be played on our fields, and others will be played on the fields belonging to the group that you are playing against. Typically,
Tots and Under-8 mixed teams play all games at home, while the Under-8 Girls and
older teams travel.
Traveling teams do not go far.
Typically, in addition to having home games, the away games may be played at Largo,
Belleair, Seminole, Azalea, and other nearby fields. |
